Gumroad Launch Guide: C-Score Desktop Pro

Follow these steps to publish your app with License Key protection.

1. Create Product

Go to Products > New Product.
Name: Stanford C-Score Estimator (Desktop Pro)
Type: Check Physical (or Digital, but usually “Software” falls under Digital). Select Digital Product.
Price: $29 (or your chosen pricing).
Click Next: Customize.

2. Content (The Files)

In the Content tab, delete any placeholder files.
Click Upload your files.
Select the C-Score-Desktop-Pro-v1.1.1.zip file I created in this folder.
- Location: delre_website/gumroad_release/C-Score-Desktop-Pro-v1.1.1.zip

3. License Keys (Crucial Step)

To fulfill your “1 license per purchase” requirement: 1. Go to the Checkout tab (or “Settings” depending on Gumroad version). 2. Look for License Keys. 3. ✅ Check Generate a unique license key per sale. 4. (Optional) Settings: * Seats per license: 1 * Verify license: (Leave valid).

4. Product Details (Copy & Paste)

Use the content from product_info.txt for: * Description: Paste the “Description” section. * Cover Image: Use the screenshot of gumroad_card.html. * Thumbnail: (Optional) Use a cropped version of the card. * Call to Action: “Buy this” or “Pay”.

5. Publish

Click Save Changes.
Click Publish.
Copy the URL (e.g., gumroad.com/l/your-product).

6. (Optional) Local App Verification

Right now, Gumroad issues the key, but the App (exe) does not ask for it. It relies on the “Honor System” (users getting the zip link only after paying). * If you want the App to Block Access until the key is entered, let me know. I would need to add a “License Check” screen to the code.
